What the App collects and does not collect
Variable Software ("we," "us" or "our") operates Starglow (the "App"). This policy describes what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The App has no account system and does not ask for your name, email address or any other contact information.
Your game progress and save data are stored only on your device. The App does not operate a cloud save or a server for this data, and it does not receive it.
The App collects only the information described in the sections below.
Analytics
The App uses analytics to understand how it is used and to improve it. Analytics data describes how the App is used, such as the screens you open and how long a session lasts, together with the device model, operating system version and app version. It is not linked to your name or contact details.
You can turn analytics off at any time in the App's settings.
Crash reporting
If the App crashes, it sends a crash report describing what went wrong in the code, together with the device model, operating system version and app version. A crash report carries no personal information you entered.
Advertising
The App shows advertising.
Ads are personalized only with your consent. Without your consent, or until a required choice has been made, you still see ads, but they are not personalized.
Advertising partners may use device identifiers, where permitted, to serve and measure ads.
This service is also governed by this provider's privacy policy.
Purchases
The App offers in-app purchases.
Purchases are processed by the platform store you installed the App from; the App does not see or store your payment information.
Your choices
You can make these choices:
- Turn analytics on or off in the App's settings. The change applies immediately.
- Change your ad-personalization choice in the App's settings.
- In regions that require it, the App asks for your consent before it collects information that needs your consent, and you can change that choice at any time in the App's settings.
- Delete your save data by uninstalling the App or by clearing its data on your device.
Changing these choices does not affect your ability to play.
Removing ads
A one-time in-app purchase removes advertising from the App. After the purchase, the App stops showing ads on your device.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the end of this policy changes with it, and additional notice is given where the law requires it.
